
We're excited to announce that a much requested feature by our customers (the ability to create variations for the promotions displayed alongside customer photos) was officially released yesterday.
With this new feature, merchants can now try various catalog images and call-to-action texts to determine which combination resonates best with their users. They can upload new images instantly from mobile phones to test new promotions.
Here's a rundown of the old process:
- Create a Mapping Tag (this is the basic association between UGC images in your collection and products in your catalog)
- Tag approved images with the appropriate Mapping Tag
And here's how the new process differs:
- Create a Mapping Tag
- Tag approved images with the appropriate Mapping Tag
- Create several variations of the Mapping Tag using the "New Variation" button. By default, each variation will start off as an exact replica of the original Mapping Tag, allowing for quick & convenient alterations.
From there, our display engine will immediately start to show new variations to users and track the performance of each one. Through our reporting & analytics interface, you can then track which combination is performing best and remove the others.
We're already tracking this data on some of our campaigns and will report the results shortly.
